GRHRCH Rose

Rose is a daughter of SOK Great Lake’s Hank and Cali. She’s a perfect example of what we look for in our breeding program. She was raised and trained by our friend Blake Allen of Bourbon Trail Retrievers, and Blake did a phenomenal job with her. Rose is the first SOK dog to achieve the title of Grand Hunting Retriever Champion, which is really an incredible accomplishment considering it was Blake’s first dog to train for such a high level of testing.

Rose’s pedigree is a blend of two very important lineages for SOK. Her sire is HRCH Hank aka Hank the Tank, the first stud of SOK Great Lakes. Hank’s offspring have been very influential in our program, including Ripp and Belle. Her dam is HRCH Cali, who is also mother to Raymond. Cali was an excellent producer, leading us to find several offspring from her sister, FTCH Drakeshead Casey, in the UK and import them into our program. Both of these lines have proven health testing, marking and handling ability, and a great “off-switch”. Rose may be a high-level retriever in the field, but she’s a loving couch-potato at home!
