Birdie

Birdie is a rocket in the field, eager to work and very bidable. She has a very athletic build. She was imported from England as a puppy from our friend Simon Capstick of Gunnerspeg Labradors. She has excelled in training with Wally and the Great Lakes crew. Birdie comes from two incredible lineages. Her sire, FTW Drakeshead Flycatcher, is one of the last dogs to come from the famous Drakeshead Labradors. Her dam, FTW Gunnerspeg Astrid, is a daughter of Simon’s foundation bitch FTCh Drakeshead Casey. Casey is a litter-sister to our girl Cali, and that lineage has been incredibly influential in both the UK and here at SOK.

With all of these proven lines combined, it’s no surprise that Birdie has been so fun to run and train in the field. Her health tests came back as good as it gets, and we are excited to see the pups she produces!
